Korean abstract artist finds inspiration in NZ

Asia NZKorean artist Hyun Bae Lee is currently on a three-month Asia New Zealand Foundation sponsored residency at Whitireia Polytechnic in Wellington. Lee works with ink or oil paint, which he applies ‘intuitively’ to a canvas allowing it to create “mysterious landscapes, such as clouds up in the sky, waves of the sea, stalactites in caves and sometimes volcanic scenery.” Read more at http://is.gd/Cwa97n
