Islam Awareness Week 2015

The launch of Islam Awareness Week 2015 was held at the Wellington Islamic Centre in Kilbinie on the 7th of September.

A wonderful event themed “Serving Humanity” was held with Jewish,Christian and Islamic leaders sharing their spiritual messages. It was a well attended event with representatives from various government agencies and community organisations.

The NZ Police played an integral role by signing a Memorandum Of Understanding with FIANZ .

The culmination of the event was the presentation of Harmony Awards to some dedicated people who have contributed to the community in New Zealand.

The event ended with an sumptuous lunch.
