Iranian Cultural Society of Wellington Poetry Night

The Executive Committee of the Iranian Cultural Society of Wellington hosted a poetry night on the 22nd of August to celebrate the life and legacy of Ahmad Shamloo and Simin Behbahani. It included an introduction to the life and poetry of Shamloo and Behbahani, audio and video recordings of these great poets, a brief reading of some of their works and refreshments and time to mingle with members and friends.
