International Day of the Disappeared

Sunday the 30th of August was the International Day of the Disappeared. Through their restoring family links programme, the Red Cross traces separated family members to clarify the fate of missing loved ones. New Zealand Red Cross works with the International Committee of the Red Cross' global tracing service.

In support of the International Day of the Disappeared, a Missing Lives photo exhibition is on display in ‪#Wellington‬ at the Embassy theatre. Come and see this collection of powerful images by photojournalist Nick Danziger, from 30 August to 12 September.
