Firefox_Screenshot_2016-01-29T18-38-56.417ZNew migrants have access to free Road Code learning resources at www.drivingtests.co.nz. It has the official questions from NZTA for the driving licence theory test.

The website is recommended and/or used by the industry body for driving instructors (NZ Institute of Driver Educators), NZ police, the military, immigration advisers, Literacy Aotearoa and a great many schools, universities and community education providers. Around 70,000 people per month use it.

For people that need to take the theory test to get a driver's licence (car, motorbike or heavy vehicle), it offers unlimited practice at no charge. For people that are struggling with English, it offers an opportunity to practice while learning a valuable skill. For temporary visitors, or those who can swap their licence without taking a test, there is a visitor Road Code quiz in English, Chinese, Spanish, German and French to get them up-to-speed with the road rules.
