Fantastic Turnout at September Council Meeting

There was a fantastic turnout at the September meeting of the Multicultural Council of Wellington. It was wonderful to have Tahir Nawaz, President of the International Muslim Association of New Zealand joining us to make a presentation on the launch of the Islam Awareness Week. It was a privilege to welcome the African People's Union onto the Council, and welcome back MIA (Mujeres In Aotearoa). And we discussed all the many multicultural projects and events that are contributing to the well being of our city.
