Soundinitiative in residence at New Zealand School of Music

In August 2015, Paris-based musical ensemble soundinitiative was in Wellington presenting their work, rehearsing and performing at the School of Music.  Renowned for having a strong emphasis on scenography and their interaction with audiences, soundinitiative participated in a NZSM Composer Workshop and performed the New Zealand debut of ‘Made in France’ and the premiere of a new work by New Zealand composer Michael Norris. Their visit was part of a Oceania tour to Singapore, New Zealand and Australia supported by the Institut Français, SPEDIDAM and the Fonds d’Amitié France Nouvelle Zélande..
