Not-For-Profit Industry Survey

Philanthropy NZMessage from Philanthropy New Zealand:

We are delighted to offer our Community members the opportunity to have their say about issues that are facing NFP operators. Please see below information from Grant Thornton about their second trans-Tasman not-for-profit industry survey.

Have your say

We are again offering Not for Profit organisations across Australia and New Zealand the opportunity to have their say about issues that are facing NFP operators. We want to build on our findings from the 2013/2014 survey to form a deeper view on the challenges that operators currently face in driving change amongst peers within the Not for Profit industry. By participating in our second bi-annual survey, we can work towards delivering solutions to Not for Profit organisations.

Once the survey is complete, we will compile and analyse the results and produce a report that will provide some valuable data and commentary about how each individual business deals with operational issues, and how individual Not for Profits influence the sector as a whole. In our report, we will be able to provide some interesting analysis from both countries and a Trans-Tasman overview. Serving the Not for Profit industry is a core focus for our firm. Grant Thornton Australia and New Zealand have dedicated Not for Profit teams to help organisations like yours help others.

What does the survey focus on?

This survey touches on a range of topical issues, some of these include:

  • Fundraising
  • Alignment to outcomes/impact assessment
  • Governance
  • Risk management
  • Alternative revenue options
